Creative work sits within increasingly complex legal, commercial and cultural environments. I provide legal advisory to artists, cultural practitioners, creative professionals, entrepreneurs, creative businesses, cultural institutions, studios, media and publishing houses on intellectual property, contracts, creative labour and related rights.
My legal advisory is grounded in the Indian and wider South Asian context, with an understanding of the particular legal, cultural and commercial realities of creative economies and cultural ecosystems in the Global Majority. I provide specialized legal advisory that may include intellectual property and rights strategy, contract review and negotiation, questions of ownership and authorship, and legal considerations arising from creative collaborations and projects.

This cultural mobility flows report explores the international mobility of Indigenous artists and arts professionals, examining how they circulate across borders and contribute to global cultural exchange. This report draws on multiple interviews, as well as existing research and resources.
This paper examines the implications of the growing persecution of dissident and critical creative expression in the region and explores how governments have manipulated the pandemic to target artists. It documents specific artist cases to examine the underlying causes and implications of this trend of persecution.
